Our inaugural undertaking involved transforming our 1970s red brick dwelling into a modern and functional home that could comfortably house our family of five. Our renovation journey began by transforming a bedroom into an ensuite and walk-in robe, the only parts we left unaltered during the house’s renovation. While we preserved the original structure, we reworked the interior layout, expanded the kitchen and living areas, and added a deck. Additionally, we replaced the old roof with a new one featuring high ceilings, creating a more spacious feel. Two years later, we completed the project by constructing a studio at the property’s rear, which could serve as an office, gym, and garage storage.
